On the griddle
Pancakes, eggs and bacon, all going at once.
Canons Park · Edgware · HA8
Forty seconds from Canons Park station, we serve the sort of breakfast you plan your morning around — all day, every day, cooked to order and poured with coffee worth sitting down for.
From six in the morning until we close, the grill stays on.
Freshly ground beans, poured by people who care about the pour.
Opposite Canons Park station on the Jubilee line, HA8 6RW.
Independent, local, and on first-name terms with half the parade.

Our story
Canons Cafe sits in the little parade of shops facing Canons Park station. It is the sort of place where the builders arriving at six get the same welcome as the mums with pushchairs at ten and the office lot grabbing lunch at one.
Everything is cooked to order in our own kitchen. The bacon is proper back bacon, the eggs are free-range, the avocados are ripe on the day, and the pancakes go straight from the griddle to your table. Nothing is reheated and nothing is complicated — it is simply good food, made well, priced fairly.
We look after vegetarians and vegans as carefully as we look after the full-English crowd, halal options are there for the asking, oat and soya milk sit behind the machine, and there is always a bowl of water outside for the dogs.
Straight from the pass
The griddle, the pour, the plates going out. Filmed here on ordinary mornings, with nothing rearranged for the camera.
Pancakes, eggs and bacon, all going at once.
Straight off the griddle and onto the plate.
Every pancake poured to order.
Nothing leaves the pass until it looks right.
Lunch, cooked properly, from midday.
Iced for the walk, or a proper cup to sit with.

Ask around Canons Park and the same few things come up. The breakfast is generous and it never stops. The coffee is made by hand, not by a button. And nobody rushes you out of your seat.
We are a genuinely independent cafe in Edgware — no chain, no franchise, no central kitchen. That means the chef can cook your eggs the way you actually want them, the specials change when something good comes in, and if you are a regular we will very likely start your order before you have taken your coat off.
Being right by the station makes us an easy meeting point for the whole of north-west London. We regularly welcome people from Edgware, Stanmore, Queensbury, Burnt Oak, Kingsbury, Belmont and the surrounding HA postcodes — a short hop on the Jubilee line, or ten minutes in the car.
